Results from the 2015 Membership Survey

  • Objective of the survey was to determine how closely aligned the priorities of the Mineola neighbourhood are with Mineola’s ratepayer association (Credit Reserve Association)
  • 2,300 homes in the Credit Reserve Association catchment area received the survey
  • Residents were asked to indicate how important each of the 7 key issues are that the Credit Reserve Association currently spends its time on (very important, somewhat important, not important).
  • Residents were also given an opportunity to identify other issues that were important to them as well as make any comments
  • Response to the survey was encouraged via emails and the Credit Reserve Association Annual General meeting
  • Deadline for completion of the survey was June 3, 2015
  • 247 completed surveys were returned representing just over 10% of the neighbourhood

Findings

On most issues, very strong alignment exists between the priorities of the Credit Reserve Association and the Mineola community it represents.

  • Implications of Findings

    • Issues that the Credit Reserve Association are focussed on aligns well with the issues of the Mineola neighbourhood

    • While Air Traffic is an issue of lower importance than the other 6, it could be the result of education / lack of information of how potential changes in air traffic could affect the neighbourhood

    • Continue to survey the Mineola neighbourhood on an annual basis to establish trends
